Managing Playlists 1 2 3

Block Party! v2.0

Create a "Block Party" playlist of random Artists and a specific number of their randomly selected songs arranged in a row ("two-fers", "three-fers", and so on).

(Maybe broadcast radio stations still do this, but back in the day, we'd have "Two-fer Tuesdays", "Three-fer Thursdays", or "Block Party Weekends" that played seemingly random track sets of an an artist. Always a cume-builder.)

Divvy Up For DVDs v1.0

This script will create DVD-sized (no greater than aproximately 4.37GB) playlists from a selection of tracks or the tracks in a selected playlist in preparation for burning as a DVD data disc. Playlists will be named sequentially, for example, "My Name Is Earl, Season 2 - Disc 1", "My Name Is Earl, Season 2 - Disc 2", and so on.

Assimilate View Options v1.2

This script re-creates your playlists, excepting Smart Playlists and "special" playlists (Purchased, Podcasts, Party Shuffle, Audibooks, TV Shows, and Movies), then deletes the old ones so all of the View Options are the same as the main Music library (taking advantage of the fact that new playlists acquire the Music library's View Options).

Reshuffle Smart Playlists

This script will delete the tracks from all of your Smart Playlists so that they will be re-populated. In some cases, depending on a Smart Playlist's criteria, a different set of tracks will populate each Smart Playlist.

DO NOT USE THIS SCRIPT! IT WILL DELETE ALL TRACKS IN MASTER LIBRARIES!

SaveFave v1.1

This script applet copies the track currently playing to a playlist called "Favorites". It will create a "Favorites" playlist if none exists. You can edit it to change the default playlist name from "Favorites" to something you find more appropriate, instructions in the "Read Me".

One Song From Each Artist In Playlist

Copies one song from each Artist in a selected Playlist to a new user-named Playlist. Works on iTunes or iPod Playlists. When complete you have the option play the new Playlist, shuffle and play it, or just quit.
